Colonie - Florence Mary Horton, of Sebring Ave. died Friday, September 16, 2016. Born in Albany, Florence had lived in Colonie since 1981. She was a quiet and caring homemaker.
Florence was the wife of the late Edward H. Horton, Sr. and Thomas Garrison, Sr.; mother of Richard Garrison, Flo Garrison, Thomas Garrison, Jr., Autumn Garrison and the late Linda Garrison; sister of George Sheldrick, Jr., Barbara Harris, Ellen Sheldrick and the late Dorothy Sheldrick, Louise Sheldrick, Lester Sheldrick, Shiela Winchip and Marjorie Sheldrick. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
