Obituary of Jeanette K. MacDonald

Colonie - Jeanette K. MacDonald, 95 years old, passed away on Sunday May 21st, 2017 after many years of living in her own home with the support of loving family. Mrs. MacDonald was predeceased by her husband, Fred MacDonald.  Together they had four children, Patricia (James) Walter, Larry (Lea) MacDonald, James (Sheila) MacDonald, and Mark (Kathy) MacDonald. 

Jeanette MacDonald grew up on a farm in Schoharie County and raised her children in Colonie, NY where she worked diligently with her husband to build the Colonie Little League and worked at the A&P Grocery. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and her beloved beagle, Barnie. In addition to her children, she is survived by her sister, Christine Robarge (age 98), and 13 grandchildren (Susan, Jim, Julie, Diana, Shelly, Jennifer, Jeffery, Steven, Carrie, Derek, Sarah, Becky, Lisa) 16 great grand children (Alex, Jake, Peter, Samantha, Dylan, Katelyn, Nick, Cody, Jisiri, Jacob, Dylan, Colin, Madison, Jacob, Logan, Cameron, Maxwell, Griffin) and 1 great great grand child (Jayden).  

Calling hours will be Wednesday May 24th from 4-7pm and funeral on Thursday May 25th at 10am at the Reilly and Son Funeral Home Colonie.
