Dear Sue and family, I am so sorry for your family’s loss of your sister, Gail. I was a classmate of Gail at Mercy, class of 66. We also were in the Merciettes together with Sister Rita Mary and shared several secretarial courses. I remember her as a sweet, soft spoken girl. We even started our first State job together at SUNYA. Our paths crossed again at local car shows. Was so happy she reunited with her first love. I had the privilege of serving alongside Gail McQuade for many years on the board of the Helderberg Lake Community Association. Her dedication as treasurer for decades was truly admirable, and her commitment to our community was unwavering. Gail’s kindness, wisdom, and tireless efforts made a lasting impact, and she will be deeply missed. I always enjoyed our conversations, whether we were discussing community matters or simply sharing stories. She had a way of making every interaction meaningful, and I will forever cherish those moments. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of dedication and community spirit will live on.
