Obituary of Anna Nancy Ryan
Orange Park, FL - Anna N. Ryan, age 99 years and 5 months, of Orange Park, Fl, formerly of Colonie, N. Y., was called home to her just reward in heaven with our Lord on June 4, 2017. She was born January 4, 1918 to Maria and Salvatore Filippone in Albany, N. Y. She was preceded by them and her siblings, Josephine, Rose, John, Dominic, Alba, Salvatore and Frank. Her husband, Philip W. Ryan, Sr. died July 22, 1992. She was also preceded by two children, Julie A. Race and John S. Ryan, her son-in-law, Douglas Race and her daughter-in-law, Theresa Ryan, her sister-in-law Elizabeth O'Connor
( Richard) and brother-in-law, Jack Ryan.
Anna moved to Orange Park in 2006. She leaves behind two daughters, Anna M. Furlani ( Gordon ) and Angela Wood ( Dale ) of Orange Park, Fl. and
two sons, William O. Ryan ( Debra ) of Dalton, Ma. and Philip W. Ryan, also of Orange Park.
She was a devout Roman Catholic and attended daily Mass at St. Clare's in Colonie and both St. Catherine's and St. Luke's in Florida. She said her Rosary every day without fail. She loved to sew and cook and, once she was actually retired, watching her show " General Hospital. "
She was the most forgiving person and loved everyone deeply and unconditionally. Though her love will live forever in our hearts, her hugs and kisses will be sorely missed.
" We'll see you again, whenever spring breaks through again. Though the years our tears may dry, we will love you 'till we die."

There will be a graveside service at St. Agnes Community Mausoleum, 48 Cemetery Road, Menands, N. Y. at 11:00 A M on June 24, 2017. There will be a celebration of her life, in the true Italian fashion, sharing good food, drink, laughter and memories at Il Faro Restaurant, 698 Broadway, Menands, N. Y. immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, a donation, in Anna's name, can be made to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fl. 32257.
