Voorheesville - William M. “Bill” Sehl , 82, of Voorheesville died Thursday, March 6, 2025 at his home.  Born in Albany, Bill was the son of the late William J. And Bertha Held Sehl.  Bill and his wife Midge had lived in Voorheesville for the past 55 years and were parishioners of St. Matthew’s Church in the village.  Bill was a longtime partner at Lane Press in Albany before his retirement 15 years ago.

William was the husband of 57 years of Madeline “Midge” Boni Sehl; he is survived by his sisters, Margaret of Iowa and Barbara of Maine; he was predeceased by his sister, Georgiana.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at St. Matthew’s Church, 25 Mountainview St., Voorheesville.  Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m., prior to the mass.  Interment will be in Memory Gardens in Colonie.  For those who wish, donations in Bill’s name to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
