Colonie - Alton A. Hoffman, Sr., 98, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Albany. Alton lived most of his life on Barthol St. in Colonie. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving during World War II. He was employed as an Exterminator for Abelene in Albany.
Alton was the husband of Louise Hoffman and the late Dawn Hoffman; and father of Alton Hoffman, Jr., Iris Macfee, Gregory Miller, Mary Krug and the late Kathleen Clapper. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
