Guilderland - Raymond A. Banuls, 59, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany surrounded by his family. Born in Albany on February 13, 1961, Raymond was the son of Raymond and Dolores and had lived in Guilderland his entire life. He was employed at Hewlett Packard from 1986 to 2012 and then at the New York State Tax & Finance Department until 2017. Raymond was a member of the Woodlawn Sportsman’s Club and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and lived by the motto “perfection is key”. In addition to his parents, Raymond is survived by his wife Maureen Thomas Banuls, who he married on July 14, 1990; his sons, Joe, Paul and James, all of Guilderland; and his brothers, Michael Banuls of Guilderland and David Banuls (Christine) of Pine Bush, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Raymond at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd. in Guilderland. Burial will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday, from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville.
