Colonie - Robert J. Ramundo, Sr., 76, of Sand Creek Rd. died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Community Hospice of Albany Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, Robert had lived all of his life on Sand Creek Rd. He worked for over 50 years as a Salesman and was currently employed at Wolberg Electric in Albany. Bob adored his grandchildren and was an avid historian. He also enjoyed maintaining his yard and gardening. Robert was the husband of Patricia Selig Ramundo; father of Lisa Relation (Henry) of Johnsonville, Robert J. Ramundo, Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL and Karen Rivers (Glenn) of Voorheesville; brother of Nancy Iacobucci, Paul Ramundo, Jr. and James Ramundo, all of Colonie and the late Daniel, Vito, Joseph, Anthony and Richard Ramundo, Sr.; grandfather of William Rivers (Heather), Dyllan Rivers, Jacob Ramundo and Joshua Ramundo; and great-grandfather of Annabelle Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m., prior to the funeral service. For those who wish, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
