Connolly, Jane TOMS RIVER, N.J. Jane Ellen (Keens) Connolly, 63, longtime resident of Randolph, N.J. and recently of Toms River passed away May 6, 2014. Jane was born and raised in Albany and moved to Randolph in 1984 with her husband and two daughters. She had a long career dedicated to helping others. She worked as a nurse and hospital administrator at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for more than 20 years. After her tenure with Saint Barnabas, she remained active as a nurse, providing care and support to those with special needs and physical handicaps. Kind-hearted and always giving, she will remain forever in the hearts of her family, friends and the patients she helped. Jane is survived by her two daughters, Sherri Hawthorne her husband, Keith and son James of Florham Park, N.J. and Melissa Connolly of Morristown, N.J.; her brothers, William C. (Bill) and his wife Nettie of Arlington, Va., Robert (Bob) and Marcie of Delmar, Joel (Joe) and Anne of Rensselaer, and many nieces, nephews and close family friends. She was predeceased by her husband, James C. Connolly; her parents, William G. and Helen (Brooks) and her brothers, Charles (Chuck), James (Jim) and John Keens. Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Reilly & Son Funeral Home in Colonie. Burial will be private and for the immediate family.
