In life we are blessed to know a few great people and John was one of them. I first got to know John as a competitor when he worked for Cascade School supplies back in the 70’s. After being competitors for many years and losing several jobs to John I finely decided it was better to have him work with me than against me. He joined Beckley Cardy and brought with him a slew of his customers for back in those days customers also bought by relationships not just price and John was a master at building relationships. Over the years John often talked about his family and the joy they brought to him day in and day out and often headed home as opposed to staying overnight while we were on the road.
Today the world is a bit less bright as John is not here but he leaves behind a living legacy with our memories, friends and his family.
