Obituary of James J. Schultz

Colonie - James J. Schultz, 43, of Ramundo Dr. died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Jim had lived most of his life in Colonie. He loved spending time with his family, especially bike riding with his children, yardwork, gardening and fishing. Jim worked in building maintenance, landscaping and most recently as a mechanic at Jiffy Lube in Colonie. James was the father of Heather Schultz of Colonie, James Theodore "JT" Schultz of Colonie and Skyler Schultz of Cohoes; son of Gail Schultz of Colonie; grandson of James Ramundo of Colonie and the late Marilyn Ramundo; brother of Todd Schultz of Colonie; nephew of Fred Ramundo of Colonie and the late Kathleen Mary McMillen; uncle of Payton Napoli-Schultz; and cousin of Julie Lambert. Funeral 9:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 10:00 o'clock at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
