Obituary of Jeannette M.. Paraso

ALBANY - Jeannette Stafford Paraso, 88, died Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Community Hospice of Albany Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. As a homemaker, Jeannette's greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafts, church activities and golf. For many years, Jeannette has enjoyed Florida in the winter and Lincoln Pond in Elizabethtown, NY during the summer. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Paraso, Sr.; her parents, Dayton and Ethel Winnie Stafford; and several siblings. Jeannette was the mother of Joan Sweet (Chuck) of Elizabethtown and Florida, Joseph Paraso (Patti) of Voorheesville, John Paraso (Diane) of Ballston Spa, Terri Lieberman (Richie) of Averill Park, Eddie Paraso of Ormond Beach, FL and the late William "Butchie" Paraso, Jr.; sister of Jack Kelly of Biloxi, MS; and grandmother of John, Billy, Michelle, Chrissy, T.J., Matt, Jamie, Aaron and the late Jimmy and Julie. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend committal services at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery , 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871.
