Obituary of Margaret Molitor

Troy - Margaret Molitor, 91, of the Diamond Ridge Retirement Community passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, Margaret had lived in Colonie for 35 years and enjoyed her recent years at Diamond Ridge. She was employed for 35 years at the New York State Education Department in Albany, retiring in 1976. She was a life member of Louise Corning, a member of the Hart Social Center in Colonie, a life member of the NYS Senior Action Council, a member of the Colonie AARP, a member of CSEA, a member of the New Scotland Senior Citizens, a member of the Berne Historical Society and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Margaret was the aunt of Andrea Burger, Geraldine Burger, Frederick Molitor, Jr. (Agnes), Ida Wilkus and the late Joseph F. Molitor. She was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Mary Albert (Henry), Wilhelmina Neidel (George), Frederick Molitor (Evelyn) and Elizabeth Burger (Andrew) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 o'clock Friday morning, January 4 2013 at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Friends may also call at the church Friday morning after 9:00 o'clock. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
