Colonie - Sarina Rosaria Canzano, 92, died at her home on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Born in Bafia, Sicily, Italy, Sarina had lived in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada before moving to Colonie in 1963. She worked as a seamstress and locally was employed at M. Solomon’s and Annette’s Bridals.
Sarina was the wife of the late Domenico Canzano; mother of Mimma (Frank) Motta of Baltimore, MD, Antoinette (John) Jordan of Latham, Frank Canzano of Colonie and Carmelo Canzano of Colonie; grandmother of Giulia Motta, Sarina (Filippo) Lumaro, John Jordan and Nicole Jordan; and great-grandmother of Stefania and Valentina Lumaro.
Funeral 10:00 o’clock Friday morning from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 11:00 o’clock at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Emtombment will be in Memory’s Garden Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
