Rita Boni Obituary
Colonie - Rita Volmer Boni, 95, of Central Ave., died Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Born in Albany, Rita was a lifelong area resident. She worked at the former Caldor's in Albany for many years. Rita was the wife of the late Joseph Boni. Survivors include her children, Robert J. Boni (Patricia), Peggy Simmons, Elizabeth Berry (Peter) and Joseph Boni (Susan); nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10:00. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 o'clock and burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 or the Alzheimers Association, 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Albany, NY 12205 would be appreciated.
