Obituary of Jean M. Klinkbeil

Clifton Park - Jean Herring Klinkbeil, 82, of Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Hospice at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy. The daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Devine Herring, Jean was born in Troy on March 10, 1933. She was educated at St. Peter’s School in Troy and was a 1951 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Jean was employed by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Troy, where she met her husband, Julius. She later worked as a child care provider and shared her love with several children in the Clifton Park area. Jean was the wife of the late Julius M. Klinkbeil, who died on April 20, 1996, loving mother of Michele M. (Scott) Reale of Rexford, NY and a loving aunt, great aunt, godmother and friend. She was predeceased by her dear twin sister Joan (Herring) Hostig. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd., Clifton Park. A visiting hour will be held at the church Monday morning from 10 - 11 o’clock, prior to the mass. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Waterford.
