Guilderland - Robert J. Krapf, 84, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Hazelton, PA, Robert lived for 57 years in the Village of Colonie. He was a baker and owned Phil's Pastry Shop in Albany for 17 years before retiring in 1987. Also, he was one of the founding members of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Colonie. Robert was the husband of Ruth Crandall Krapf; father of Bruce Krapf (Bonnie) of Feeding Hills, MA and Kathy DiSisto (David) of Colonie; grandfather of Eric DiSisto, Chad DiSisto, Geoffrey Krapf (Jayde), Michael Krapf (Robyn), Susan Krapf an d Kimberly Krapf; great-grandfather of Rubyanne DiSisto and Owen Krapf; and brother of John Krapf of Havertown, PA, Jeanne Baer (Henry) of Pennsylvania and the late William and Ann Krapf. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 o'clock Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Colonie. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park in Schenectady. For those who wish, memorial contributions to St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 49 Killean Park, Colonie, NY 12205 or the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
