Schenectady - Mary Peterson-Melanson passed away on Wednesday Feb. 20th at The Avenue in Schenectady. She spent most of her life in Colonie NY. She was predeceased by her father Vito Vaccaro, her mother Jennie Drago, her brother Charlie Vaccaro, and most recently by her daughter Linda Kolpacki. Mary is survived by her loving husband Walter Melanson, her son Glen Peterson of Venice Florida, her granddaughters Cristy Viscusi Peterson and Kelly Szesnat. She is also survived by her great- granddaughters Sabrina and Ariana Viscusi, and Christina Neaton and brothers Jackie, Bobby and Jimmy Vaccaro. A service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 2nd at The Avenue, 526 Altamont Ave. , Schenectady , NY.
