Obituary of Sierra Lynn Riccio
Guilderland - Sierra Lynn Riccio, 25, passed away suddenly on February 17, 2018. Sierra was a graduate of Guilderland High School and was a valued employee by 4 Paws Veterinary Clinic in Wynantskill, where she was loved by all her furry friends. Sierra is loved by all that knew her. She loved life to the fullest. Sierra was a kind, loving, caring, beautiful soul and had a love for all things living. Sierra has a passion for Adventure, Hiking, Rock hounding for crystals and gems. Each stone had a special meaning for her. Sierra was very talented and loved sketching and painting. She was bubbly, strong, optimistic and would light a room with her beautiful blue eyes and infectious smile. Sierra is loved by many and had an unbreakable bond with her family and friends not to mention her lifetime “Amigos” Danielle Padula and Danielle Mastrianni.
Sierra is survived by her mother, Laura Laier Riccio; sister (and best friend), Cheyenne Riccio (Dominic Padula); and grandfather, Edgar H. Laier, all of Guilderland; the love of her life and fiance, Keith Lauzier of Connecticut; aunts and uncles, Karla (Ron) Van Alstyne , Eric and Margaret Laier, David and Gail Laier, Dawn Riccio, Scott and Bambi Riccio of Guilderland, NY and Anthony, Joseph, Michael Riccio of Port Charlotte, FL, Kelly Rogers (Riccio) of Schenectady; cousins, Erin Van Alstyne-Adams (Mark), Kimberly (Sean) McCormack, Brian (Stephanie) Van Alstyne, Chad Laier, Amber (casey) Izzo, Brianna Laier, Scott (Madelena) Riccio, Jillian (Randy) Riccio and Spencer McKaig; and all her littles who adored their “CiCi”. She was predeceased by her father, Jeffrey P. Riccio; maternal grandmother, Margaret (Peggy) Laier; and paternal grandparents, Anthony and Phyllis Riccio.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave., Guilderland. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. at Christ the King Church.
