Colonie - William Donald Davis, 83, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Albany Memorial Hospital.  Born in Albany, Don was a lifelong resident of Colonie.  He worked for 35 years as a Plumber employed by Local #7 in Albany, retiring in 1993.  He was a member of the West Albany Fire Department #2 where he also served as a Past Chief and he enjoyed playing in several area Softball and Golf Leagues, Friday night card games at the Firehouse and horse racing.

Don was the husband of the late Jean Ryan Davis and Nora Wilson Davis; father of Deborah Amedio (Michael) of Latham; grandfather of Allison (Teejay), Ashley and Ryan Amedio; great-grandfather of Joshua and Logan; and stepfather of Matt, Brent and Ryan Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Colonie.  Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home.  For hose who wish, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
