Obituary of Marilyn Baker McGinn

Colonie - Marilyn Baker McGinn, 88, passed way on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital.  She was a lifelong resident of Colonie and graduated from Roessleville High School in 1948.  Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 2001; they had been married for over 50 years.  She enjoyed golfing, bowling, summer beach vacations with her family in younger years and took great pleasure being outside on her backyard patio at home.

She is survived by her children, Michele McGinn of Colonie, Michael McGinn (Diane) of Slingerlands, Cheryl Earley (Thomas) of Colonie and Kimberly Scheuer (Donald) of Niskayuna.  She was the grandmother of Brandon and Kendall Earley, Conor McGinn and Joel (Julia) and Jason Carusone.  She is also survived by three great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Margaret McGinn of Colonie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to Make a Wish Northeast New York, 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205.
