The Otoya family sends their condolences to Hugh's family in these extremely difficult times. My father, Juan Otoya, who recently passed away, had known Hugh for a little under 30 years, and in those 30 years there was nothing but admiration and respect in between the two individuals. As a family that has recently gone through the terrible hardship of losing someone, we can empathize with Hugh's family; and send our love and prayers to Hugh's family in support through these emotional times.

As a friend of Hugh’s brother John, growing up I knew the family well. In my childhood memories of Hugh he is always smiling ( and teasing us a lot). Reading about the man he became made me smile as well, realizing that the strengths and character he exhibited mirrored those of his father. Rest In Peace Hugh. God Bless your family.
We are proud to say we went to High School with Hugh.
His service to his country and his love of his family, friends and colleagues shines
like a beacon. We are inspired by him and will never forget him.
Our love, Dick and Chris (Wilber) Howard

Mr. McDonald you will be missed. The heated debates you and Jack Devine used to get into almost 10 years ago still makes me laugh. You told so many engaging and memorable stories. RIP
