Voorheesville - Barbara Roberts Rivenburg, 81, of Woodwind Dr. died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at her home. Born in Albany, Barbara was the daughter of the late Helen Reis and W. Stanley Roberts. She worked for 25 years as a Teacher's Assistant for BOCES and then during her retirement she enjoyed traveling and learned to play golf. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a past President and Treasurer. Also, she had been a Sunday School Teacher. Barbara was the wife of the late Donald E. Rivenburg; mother of David Rivenburg (Monica) of Voorheesville, Douglas Rivenburg of Berne, Dennis Rivenburg of Voorheesville and Darren Rivenburg (Christy) of Voorheesville; grandmother of Jeffrey Rivenburg (Margaret), Kimberly Farricker (Tim), Donald Rivenburg and Cathleen Rivenburg; great-grandmother of Mikayla Rivenburg and Jamie Farricker; and sister of Harry Roberts, Warren Roberts (Dottie) and the late Constance DiLallo and Paul, Donald, LeRoy, Walter, Ronald and Robert Roberts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville, 68, Maple Ave. Voorheesville, NY 12186. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville would be appreciated.
