Obituary of Beatrice J. Kenney

Voorheesville - Beatrice J. Siegle Kenney, 90, of Voorheesville died on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Kingsway Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born and raised in West Virginia, Beatrice was the daughter of the late August Siegle and Julia Christian Siegle. She moved to the Voorheesville area with her late husband, Dean P. Kenney, in the 1950’s. Beatrice is survived by her brother, Alden Siegle; son, Joseph W. (Gloria), Kenney; daughter, Barbara (Karl) Gorman; and son, Stephen P. (Kathy), Kenney 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anna M. Kenney; her brother, Conrad Siegle; and her sister, Edna Sullivan. Prior to her declining health, Beatrice enjoyed knitting, traveling with her fellow seniors, volunteering at Kiwanis dinners, and lunches at the diner with her close friend Dorothy Kohler. The family would like to thank Kingsway Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassionate care she received while she was a resident there. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
