Obituary of Theresa Ann Hart

Colonie - Theresa Ann O’Neil Hart entered into eternal life on Monday, March 15, 2021 joining her youngest son, Jonathan. She was residing at the Diamond Hill Nursing Center under Hospice care. Theresa was born at Brady Maternity Hospital in Albany, NY on April 11, 1941 to the late Terence and Christine O’Neil. She is survived by her beloved husband of over fifty years, John M. Hart; and her son, Terence P. Hart. She was also predeceased by her brother ,Terence and sister, Christine. Theresa graduated from Cardinal McCloskey High School, class of 1959. She was an excellent stenographer and immediately went to work for the State of New York. She worked for the Executive Branch, serving Governor Nelson Rockefeller as his secretary. Theresa and John lived for many years in Loudonville raising their two sons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2021 at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 5 p.m. at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie.
