Obituary of Linda Curlette

Linda VanRavenswaay Curlette, 71 passed away peacefully on January 20, 2023 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell in Valatie. Linda was born on May 3rd, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Lou VanRavenswaay and sister of the late Virginia (Gerald) Rickert. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 21 years John A. Curlette. Linda lived in Voorheesville where she graduated from Voorheesville Central High School in 1970 with a degree in cosmetology. She retired from Vans beauty salon.

She was a loving and caring person that cherished her family and friends. Linda was a devoted wife, sister and aunt.

She was involved in the Berne Masonic Eastern Star, Voorheesville American Legion #1493 Auxiliary, and the New Scotland Presbyterian Church.

Linda will be greatly missed by her siblings, Ellen (William) Scoons, Karen (Mike) Magrum, Robert (Deborah) VanRavenswaay JR, and Michael (Candance) Relyea and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service located at Oakwood Cemetery at 186 Oakwood Ave., Troy, NY 12182 on Thursday January 26th, 2023 at 11:00am. After the memorial service family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the American Legion #1493 at 31 Voorheesville Avenue Voorheesville NY 12186.
