Obituary of Harriet Kowlowitz

Albany - Harriet Kowlowitz (nee Shear) 92, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2023. She grew up in the Bronx and raised her family in Queens. She moved to Florida when her husband retired. She lived in the Capital Region for the last twelve years, where she made special friends. She worked as a dental secretary for most of her career in New York City and Florida. She was a redhead by choice, outwardly vivacious but inwardly self-reflective.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carl and her son, Neal. She will be missed by her son, Alan and daughter-in-law, Susan Abram; her granddaughters and their husbands, Caitlin Abram (Ryan Hennessy) and Jenica Abram (David Kim); her great grandchildren, Jules Kim and Camille Abram; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A remembrance service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
