Margaret and Robert, Tom and I are so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. She was kind, caring, and welcoming. My whole family enjoyed being in her company. Both of your parents were very easygoing and loving. It was always so much fun spending time with your family. How lucky we were to have your family in our lives, at church, and in our homes. Thinking of you with love and prayers, Susan and Tom

Dawn, Jim, Jennifer and Wesley send our sincere sympathy to Margaret,Robert, Julie, Melissa,Annie and Michael.
I first met Mary when Mervyn. brought her home to meet his parents Annie and Ezra, his brother Orville, his wife Enid and his nieces Judy,Peggy and Dawn.
I remember thinking how romantic it was and at five it was very special. That summer we took a 6 week trip through the United States the main agenda to attend Mervyn and Mary’s wedding in Nebraska.
I can still remember shopping for dresses and going to a hairdresser for appointments. It was so exciting
and the first wedding I attended. Many years later my Dad discovered a letter written to my Grandma
by Mary defending her suitability to marry Mervyn
She declared that she was an upstanding religious
person and her father was a minister in the church
and would be a good wife to Mervyn. I believe they had a very happy marriage.
Another happy event was when Robert was born. We were delighted to have a new cousin. As Robert got older and was visiting us all he wanted to do was wrestle. He was a very active little fellow. We were again excited when Margaret arrived . I fondly remember visiting Mary and family in Altamount and being warmly welcomed. Mary would wake up at the break of dawn so that she could make the most delicious sticky buns. How we enjoyed them.
Margaret at a very early age demonstrated her love of animals and always seemed to have kittens romping around the outside the house . Mary supported Margaret’s fascination for cats and dogs.
More recently, Mary and Margaret were very supportive to my Mom by writing numerous letters and telephone calls. It was a great kindness.
I know there will be an emptiness in your hearts but know
Mary had the absolute best care and wonderful life in her last years.
