Obituary of Jacob Timothy Albright
Jacob Timothy Albright entered heaven to be with his grandmothers on January 15, 2024. He was born to proud parents on June 4, 1984. Being an only child, he was the love of his parent’s life. He was along for his first hike on the Indian Ladder Trail when he was just 10 days old. He grew up surrounded by the orchards and forests of Indian Ladder Farms. As a gifted artist he had a talent for many mediums. His woodcarvings delighted many with his whimsical creations. Playing his musical instruments and playing with his three cats made him happy.
His band was active for a time testing those skills and music with pride at small local clubs. His smile was contagious, and he would surprise many with his knowledge of science and religion. The world and sky held many mysteries for him, and he sought to understand them. He collected minerals and stones which delighted his imagination as to the power they might hold.
Jacob had an excellent vocabulary and loved to read. He had a talent for visualizing what others could not see in everyday life. He was always in search of peace in the world but discovered it was difficult to find! Jacob’s family and friends will dearly miss him and his laughter. He is so loved and always will be!
In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations in Jacob’s memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 at The First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville, 68 Maple Ave in Voorheesville, NY.
