Obituary of Catherine V. Siver
VOORHEESVILLE- Catherine V. Siver passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 25, 2024, she was 77. Cathy was born September 19, 1946, in Albany, New York, to the late Richard and Margaret Connor. Cathy worked for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance for many years and retired to watch her grandkids. She met her husband Thomas V. Siver, 57 years ago at the Helderberg Lodge, and their love and friendship tells her life story. They were married on April 19, 1969, and she traveled to some beautiful places with her beloved husband, taking cruises and seeing new places, spending quality time with one another, a true love story. Going to the diner with friends and family was very important to her. She loved to sit on the back porch he built for her, reading her book and watching the hummingbirds. She had her favorite shows (General Hospital, Blue Bloods, NCIS to name a few) that she loved to watch with him. He meant the world to her. She loved all three of her daughters, having an unique and loving friendship with each one of them. Her family was her world. She lit up when her grandkids were around. Cathy loved to attend every baseball, soccer, hockey and softball game she could make, cheering on each one of them. She went to dance recitals and graduations, making sure she was at every important event to support each one of them. She put everyone before her and had the kindest heart.
She was a devoted mother of Cynthia Pucci (Joey), Heidi DePiero (Joe), and Denise Kennard (Rob). A proud Nana of Dominic DePiero, Dillon DePiero, Christopher Kennard, and Mackenzie Kennard. She was the sister of Richard Connor (Barbara) and the late Virginia Raynsford (Wayne).
