Obituary of Vida M. Dottino

Colonie - Vida M. Church Dottino, 92 passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Shaker Place Nursing Home in Colonie.  Vida was born in Oneonta and lived most of her life in Clarksville.   She was the daughter of the late Florence Fox and Avon Church.

Vida was the wife of the late Achillo “Ike” Dottino; mother of Carol Dottino Cootware, Dennis Dottino (Gerrie) and the late Joseph Dottino;  grandmother of Ashley Cootware, Adam Dottino, Rachel Dottino and the late Shawn Cootware; great-grandmother of the late Samuel Cootware; mother-in-law of Debbie Dottino and the late Michael Cootware; sister of Barbara Church and the late Bernard Church, Bobbie Church, Kay Tutay and Dorothy Allen.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Vida’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Colleen and the staff on Whitaker wing at Shaker Place for their compassion and care.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville from 3 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024.  Interment will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at St. Patricks Cemetery in Ravena.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vida’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105
