Colonie - Tressa Frenzel Gesek, 92, of Madison Ave. died Monday, October 1, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, Tressa lived for most of her life on Madison Ave. She worked for several years at General Electric in Schenectady. Along with her late beloved husband of 64 years, Tressa enjoyed the camp they shared on Sacandaga Lake and the many friendships they made there. She was an avid New York Yankee fan, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and a life member of the Fuller Road Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Tressa was the devoted wife of the late Stanley F. Gesek and sister of Joseph Frenzel (Shirley) of Voorheesville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 11:00 o'clock Saturday morning at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
